In Women’s Voices, I deeply experienced the essence of the Love Goddess song that Kendra created. I felt empowered to choose words in the song I continue to sing in my mind and out aloud as a mantra to make a deeper connection with self and others.

How Women's Voices Started
While living in Bali, Indonesia, Kendra wanted to transition from embodiment coaching to something music oriented. A trained opera singer, she had explored vocalizing on a technical and embodied level. After leaving opera, she dared to try her hand at writing music. She wrote music every day. The very first song she wrote was "Mother." This became the foundation for Women's Voices, the mother's message of unconditional love that is fierce, compassionate, and wise. Having spent 13 years in Mormonism, she felt the absence of this wisdom being shared, spoken, and sung about. She could feel the mother "shadowed, unable to rein." Further exploring the messages of women, she wrote Beauty to explore what it is to be beautiful and Untamable remind women that their bold voices are welcome. She's written many songs that unite the women through sound vocal technique combined with embodiment and play for a completely unique experience.
